Please use the optional date parameter, e.g. {{Cleanup|September 2006}}. This helps with the categorisation of articles requiring cleanup. Articles tagged with this template will be sorted into the Template:Cleanup-date format by a bot. This template will add tagged articles to Category:Wikipedia cleanup.

  • Please do not subst: this template.
  • The simplest way to add this template to an article is to copy and paste {{Cleanup|{{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}}} at the top of the article, or use {{subst:Cleanup-now}}.
