Smoke Bomb Qualities: One-use Description: A tiny ampoule of liquid, releases thick black smoke when broken. System: Provides a +1 bonus in Combat, if your opponent is using a Ranged weapon and you are not. If they are using a Ranged weapon and you are only fleeing (i.e., using no Combat ability), this instead provides a +2 bonus. Many-keyed Babbage Qualities: Valuable Description: A wide flat box with many buttons on it. System: Allows abilities that require a babbage. Provides a +1 bonus to such challenges. Holders: Malamhin, Beathag, Ceallach

Smooth heavy pistol Qualities: Valuable, Ranged, B, R2 Description: A pistol of Ancient make, very heavy for its size. No projectile can be seen, but victims suffer severe burns and pain. System: Weapon, strength +2. Note: If you use this weapon in combat, the user (and target, if user succeeds) should permanently increase their “R” rating by 1. This effect is not apparent. Slippery yellow powder Qualities: One-use Description: A fine powder in a glass vial. If spilled, it makes the floor more slippery than ice. System: A group of people (one conversation’s worth) may not move for 5 minutes. Holders: Deasey, Drake, Wharton, Healey

Grenade Qualities: One-use System: Everyone in the location must throw themselves to the ground and behind cover, cannot move for 30 seconds, and loses 1 Physical Point if they have any. The user may avoid this effect if they leave immediately. Holders: Atkinson, Cone, Hyndman, Dogfish

Gyroscope Qualities: Valuable Description: A spinning metal object inside a glass sphere. The object inside always stays right side up, no matter what one does to the sphere. This item bears the hallmarks of recent make in El Dorado. Holders: RutledgeW, RutledgeD, Clarkson, Drake

Seven-pointed Hybrid Qualities: P Description: A starfish-like piece of living flesh merged with your skin, seven arms enfolded through your flesh. System: See information sheet. Note: Cannot be stolen, dropped, or otherwise removed, even by Shaking Down. Powers that allow a person’s items to be viewed will reveal this item normally, but not its information sheet. Creature Under Glass Qualities: P Description: Within the glass lie starfish-like pieces of wet, living flesh, each with seven arms. System: Anyone touching this item, except its original owner, must immediately pay 1 mental karma or recoil in horror. A thief attempting to steal this item must spend 3 mental karma instead, and will drop the item on the ground if they fail to do so.
