[edit] Character Description

Physical appearance: Qing-Rah is a short man who appears to be of late middle-age, dressed in a simple robe of white. Although he carries with him a few simple tools needed to perform his summoning rites, he does not appear to be very concerned with wordly posessions. His hair and, later, beard, and, even later, butterfly wings, are purple.

Origin: when Qing-Rah first met Cedric, Jinx, Viper, Vaughan, and Clement, he told them he had come from a place called Cloudview Monastery, located outside Human Lands, but relatively near Rome. The people who lived at Cloudview then were called The Old Ones, inscrutable monks who spent their time in contemplation and meditation. Qing-Rah seemed to be the youngest of the Old Ones, and often felt out of place among them; this may be the reason he was chosen to go to Thewin's End. As he travelled, he began to suspect that he had not always been at the Monastery, but his true origins were not revealed to him for a long time.

Personality: Qing-Rah is friendly enough to those who will listen, but often quite cryptic in his utterances. He is known to spout aphorisms which may come from some hidden repository of lore, or may come from his own observations of the world.
