[edit] Character Titles

Cosmic Alchemist, Master Brewer, Prime Exarch

[edit] Character Description

You are seen to be many different things to different people. Under your auspices fall every fluid, save water. And like these fluids, you have many purposes.

Some worship you as the Beer Goddess, who revels in intoxication. In your name are held debauched gatherings, where all modesty and dignity are lost in drink. These can go on for days, with the participants praising your amazing abilities to dilute the senses and bring a general feeling of good cheer to all. There also are held grand contests, where amazing stories are traded, each one more unbelievable than the last. The purpose is to be the last man able to speak at the end of the night.

Others come to you for the secrets you hold in the potions you make. They honor your name as the wise medicine woman. All manner of curatives, tinctures, and elixirs are brewed in your cauldron. These can be used to treat wounds, to cure diseases, even to bring one back to life. In truth, you can make a drink for any purpose imaginable, and there are many who wish to learn your ways.

Still others want to learn the darker side of your potions. You have many poisons, some so lethal they can harm a person before even touching their skin. They see you as the Water Moccasin. Quick and deadly.

You are all of these things, and more. You value, above all things, balance. There is a time when things should be healed, and a time when they should be destroyed. There is time for secrecy, and for ecstasy. A time for murder and creation.

It was you that discovered that secret of Immortality. You brewed together the first drop of morning dew, the crow of a newly born rooster, and the dying breath of a butterfly. This potion you have used twice, on your two prize creations. One is a Tree, which Maakshika discovered and you both decided to bring into Swarha. The other, a man, Lu Yan, the first man to become immortal. You are proud of both of them.

It was you that helped the Fu Shang culture into being. You are their Prime Exarch - their ruler. They strive to live in cosmic harmony, and you spend much of your effort guiding them towards this.

[edit] Lineage

You are the esteemed child of I-Chi, Lady of All Things Beautiful and Harmonious, and He Bo, the Eternally Flowing River the Nourishes All Mankind. The nymphs in Swarha shouted praise when you were born, and all mankind wept tears of joy, as they prepared to follow the Path of Pearls.

[edit] Children

You will not have children, as it dilutes your precious bodily essences. Having more children, either in GAIUS or in Swarha is bad for the Cosmic Balance. However, you have helped guide two immortals into Swarha - Nahunte, a Tree that was a Locus of Supreme Harmony, and Lu Yan, a young alchemical master.

[edit] Guides

You can guide the Fu Shang culture.

[edit] Goals

  1. You believe that there should be a Head-God. The Phoenix Emperor should be the Ruler of Heaven. You must convince him to join your Pantheon as a Guide.
  2. Oppose Death when you can. You are part of a conspiracy that plots against the Crone. You transformed your piece of the True Death Rune into a tasty, but bitter, fruit. The fruit was carried away by the Eagle, and planted at the Edge of the World.
  3. You are the Messiah. Anyone else is deceiving themselves. Expose this to them.
  4. Masks are a wicked thing, that breed confusion. Eliminate them.
  5. Make a new Creation, better than the Tree or Lu Yan.
