[edit] Iralith

A short-term tabletop RPG, originally intended to run as a summer break between the first Astral campaign and a sequel to same. Iralith was meant to be quite explicitly escapist, as well as lighter and less involved than the long-term science fiction campaigns that bracketed it; it probably failed in these regards, which probably speaks well of it.

Type: Tabletop, Campaign

Genre: Sorta Medium Fantasy, Real-World

System: Astral

Date: 2001ish

[edit] Characters

PCs

Robert Balls (Dan McCormick)
Charming, fast-talking, screwed-up, worthless young man. Back in college, slept with a teacher for money a few times; subsequently murdered him, and was never caught. Ultimately became the agent-in-life for the dead, who secretly rule the Earth.
Ian Cole (Ryan Watson)
Coke fiend, stage manager for a middlebrow, allegedly confrontational and fourth-wall-breaking "theater experience." Stayed in Iralith for the drugs.
Mark Feliciano (Michael Heafitz)
Bobby "Twinks" Flaherty (Chris Marinos)
Infuriatingly over-the-top nutbar. Loudmouthed Masshole; dance student and member of an Up With People-style outfit called "Dance Affirmation." Wound up hospitalized.
Don Scudder (Paul Osborne)
Mike Searle (Matt Andrysiak)
