Interconnected Gaming Scenes
This is a term made up to describe the nature of gaming circles. People will often game with one group of people, but just as often have many groups of people they game with. These groups may each individually focus on different sorts of games: Pen and Paper, Tabletop, LARP, MMORPG, etc. However, this provides a diversity for an individual player which cannot help but have a crossover effect.
How does acting in a LARP affect an interaction in an MMORPG? Does an MMORPG's achievement system translate to pen and paper? These questions and the unlimited others that arise cause a player to start to consider; just what do I want out of a (given) game? How do I acheive that? The resources required to comprehensively answer such a question are (one presumes) outside the scope of a given player. Hence a wiki such as this.
What affects the lives of games? What thoughts do those spawn? What resources are drawn in? What histories are created? All of these and more are valid areas of expansion.
