[edit] 7 Virtues 2010
- Saturday March 27th (one day)
The first one-day event for Seven Virtues will be on March 27 (a Saturday) at Eagle Pass Campground in Wales, MA (same location the fundraiser/playtest was at).
The one-day event will be an orientation event in game, where you'll get to meet the teachers and fellow students and learn a bit more IG and OOG about what you're in for. It will be relatively low-key (note: relatively), and we will try to give you good opportunities to feel your way into your character and get to know other characters in the 7V universe.
- May 14-16 (At Camp Middlesex)
- July 25th (in game party at Eaglepass)
- Sept 10-12 (At Camp Middlesex)
The later events are also contingent on site readiness, but hopefully that won't be an issue.
We also plan to do a winter event in early 2011, but are not planning a date for that yet.

[edit] Mirror Mirror 2010?

NPC list: mirror_mirror_npcs AT yahoogroups DOT com. General list: Mirror_Mirror AT yahoogroups DOT com
Current information:
It's a new Accelerant LARP by Rob Ciccolini. The general idea is that you play characters from other worlds that have come to the Mirror Mirror game world unexpectedly. You play a character you have played in any other fantasy game (LARP, tabletop, online, etc) translated into the Mirror Mirror character creation system. So that cool paladin you played for years at home but never quite felt like you were done with? The time you managed to become a lich in that LARP but then had to quit? The psi-warrior you wanted to advance before the group broke up?
All are playable.
No guns, no steam punk, only various fantasy games. The rules are still in development, but from what's been done so far I'm pretty confident that 99% of people will be able to model their characters in a fun way.
The race stuff is probably the most inchoate at the moment, but generally speaking there won't be restrictions. ROb is working on rules to be able to model most fantasy races. Now, that doesn't mean that you'd be able to have every power of any race ever, but the goal is to let you have some mechanical backup from the rules when you call yourself a "Dragon-born Paladin of the Sun God" or whatever.
It's a new site close to the Wal-Mart, Applebees, Unos, Stop and Shop complex that many non-Virginians eat at after Madrigal events. Not sure if you've been in that area. 20-30 minutes North of the Madrigal site?
Big big site with some cool cabin clusters and various big fields and module spaces.
