[edit] Character Description

Who You Were

You were an inquisitive God, who loved the seas and exploring new lands. With your sister, Shiyatumu, watching, you have traveled to all of the known lands, and discovered several unknown ones. Shiyatumu and you had always been fairly close, since she watches all, and you go to new places that have never been seen before.

It was you that tamed the sea, and invented sailing. You had to convince Saddai that it was a good idea, and that took many cycles. In the end, you promised to her to help recover the lost Eye of the Deep, and, in return, she allowed you and all that followed you, safe passage.

You enjoy the Oesman culture. They always want a good time, have a tale to tell, and places to go. The sailors all invoke your name when going on voyages, whether it be a short trip along the coast, or an unknown journey across the wide ocean.

Being one of the youngest gods, and full of vitality, you were always very active in Divine Politics. There had long been talk of having a leader of the gods, and you've thought that this is a great idea, as long as that leader isn't one of the old, set-in-their ways gods, like Vayasa. He's just out of touch. Actually, you'd thought that you'd be good at being the leader of the gods.

Who You Are

You are the Scorpion. You have existed since the beginning. Once you were free. But then the gods, led by that awful Spider, tricked you, and imprisoned you beyond the world serpent.

You want only to be free. You must kill the world-serpent, or convince him to move. You will do anything to accomplish this.

[edit] Lineage

You are the child of Tanat and Snorri, the Teller of Tales. Your were created to learn more about GAIUS, and help your father discover more about himself and the world.

Acting on the advice of your Grandmother, Death, you sailed beyond the World-Serpent, and wriggled past him into..

Well, let's just say you're not quite yourself anymore. You have become infected with Halahak, the Scorpion, a thing of the Primal Waters and Corruption, and seeks to free itself and its siblings from the Prison.

[edit] Children

You are incapable of having children.

[edit] Guides

You can guide the Oesmen culture. The Scorpion can guide the Anaya culture.

[edit] Goals

  1. Act normal.
  2. You do not care about the Head God, or Masks, or the Messiah, or most of the politics of Divine Society. However, feign an interest in doing so, as Aenir was fairly fond of this while he was still in existence.
  3. You must destroy ARAXARA, and free the Scorpion and the hosts of other Anti-Gods. Doing this will not be easy, and you may need quite a lot of assistance.
  4. Aid your "grandmother" Death in recovering the Rune of True Death. In return, she'd probably help you against ARAXARA.
  5. Do not let anyone discover your secret.
  6. Bring more violence, bloodshed, and mayhem to GAIUS.

[edit] Opinions

Opinions:

  • Amurru: Useless prankster
  • ARAXARA: One of the One's Holding You Back.
  • Ba Neb: He's not wonderful.
  • Bhagani: Your grandmother. She can be pushed over the edge very easily, you think...
  • Dusares: It will be a shame that one as beautiful as her will be destroyed by the Scorpion. You wish to have her first.
  • Jhuang Jho: The goddess of Immortality would surely oppose your plans if she knew them. However, she could provide valuable aid in dispatching with ARAXARA, if she could be convinced he was a problem.
  • Khet: Even writing will not last, when the scorpion is free!
  • Kiriresh: You Will Destroy What He Has Built!
  • Kujuku Myoo: Silly cricket, her songs will soon be silenced.
  • La Yun: A man who became immortal? Not for long!
  • Maakshika: She is holding back the Scorpion. She must be dealt with.
  • Nidram: He holds secrets you need.
  • Saddai: The Sea. She is surely against you. But if brought to your side would be an invaluable ally.
  • Sebok: He wants to remove corruption. Ha!
  • Snorri: Your father. He loves you so.
  • Srasha: Greedy for destruction, she will surely help you.
  • Tanat: Your mother. You feel nothing for her.
  • The Tree of Peace: Stupid Peace Tree

  • Watching Eagle: She watches you. You need to have her watch someone else.
  • Zormuz: Perhaps an ally?
