- Corporal Dacon (Matt W.)
- "I'm not a hero, I'm just the cook!"
- Milamber (Richard S.)
- A young wizard's apprentice assigned by his master to watch over Rolend. Very strange and matter-of-fact manner of speaking. Milamber is a name he goes by, but may not be his actual name.
- Quinn Kavanagh (Ray B.)
- An investigator, academic, and expert in occult lore blessed (or cursed) with a third eye in the palm of his hand which grants psychometry. Although confined to indentured servitude in Ariadon, he has received permission to return to his homeland of Rianol in order to help the war effort.
- Rolend (Albert L.)
- With the Bloodline, the Bow, and a spirit with a religious conversion, he is the Destiny Boy. Former stableboy and now captain of the Scorpion Slayers.
- Llewellyn Valeri (Dave R.)
- Medan con artist and rogue-of-all-trades turned Alcierin double agent. Not the most savory of fellows, but handy with a blade and handier with a smooth lie. Currently worming his way into the Genti cult of Rianol.

- Marius D'Aracna (Joey B.)
- A scheming nobleman from the Renaissance-Italy-like city of Lapis. Rolend considers Marius his best friend. Left the game in February of 2005, after his character was very nearly poisoned to death.
- Father Dareth (Dan B.)
- Healer and priest of the fort, and Dacon's mentor in the healing arts. Dareth is a very large man, built more like a Blade (the more militaristic priesthood of his goddess) than a Mourner (the order to which he actually belongs). Left the game in February of 2005.
- Tyburn Wainwright (Dave R.)
- Ill-tempered former sergeant in the Rianol army, commander of the Scorpion Slayer guerilla combat unit. Known for punching people in the face, often repeatedly. Died holding the main breach during the second siege of Rianol's capitol.
